CDLO TRAINING COURSE
18th - 22nd November 2019
Inspiring change and improving knowledge
Due to the past successes of the CDLO's across the UK, but more specifically under the Health Act 2006, each Police service has a statutory requirement to provide a single point of contact with Health and Regulatory partners - The CDLO.
To promote best practice and ensure our CDLO colleagues are equipped with the tools and knowledge required, the association delivers its annual CDLO course.
The course is aimed at experienced officers/police staff/Accountable Officers who are about to, or who already are, performing the role within their Force or Healthcare provider; and where appropriate have a drugs investigation background.
The aims of the course are to provide Controlled Drugs Liaison Officers and Accountable Officers with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of their roles and responsibilities in respect of the legislation, including inspection, investigation, intelligence gathering, crime prevention and liaison between the various agencies.
